These guidelines set out important points to keep in mind when using social media for those associated with the university (students, faculty, and staff, etc.).
Electronic media such as blogs, social networking services (SNS), video sharing sites, and bulletin boards, through which users disseminate information and foster communication.
Do not post personal information, such as confidential information learned through internships or collaborative courses with companies, without permission. Also, when quoting or introducing other people's copyrighted material on SNS, blogs, etc., please respect copyright and use only within permitted limits. Inappropriate postings may result in claims for damages.
Please confirm that the content is accurate before posting. Posting if you cannot verify the source is prohibited. Information on SNS is not necessarily accurate.
Sharing information if you cannot verify its source is prohibited. Even if it was intended as a light-hearted joke, it can become a social problem.
Posting content that defames or libels specific individuals or groups, or is discriminatory, is prohibited. This may lead to defamation and human rights violations.
Do not post other people's private information without their permission. Violation of privacy may result in claims for damages. When posting group photos, please obtain permission from the people in the photo.
Even if it's not a group photo, posting photos that include other people without their permission violates their portrait rights and privacy rights, so please refrain from doing so. Please try to avoid posting personal information as much as possible.
Please manage your ID and password carefully. Avoid passwords that are easy for others to guess, make them as long as possible, and update them regularly to prevent unauthorized use by others.
