Most students enroll with no experience, but rest assured, ESMOD Tokyo has the know-how to help you find employment as a designer or pattern maker after three years of study, even if you have no experience!
Each class has a small number of students, ranging from 10 to 20. ESMOD is known for its close relationship between teachers and students, and its school culture of providing friendly instruction.
Of course, you will need French for your third year of study at our Paris campus. We offer French language courses for those who have no prior experience of French, so it is possible to improve your language proficiency over the course of two years.
The proportion of international students at ESMOD has been increasing in recent years, and is currently around 25%. The campus has an international atmosphere with English and French being spoken everywhere.
Many students have part-time jobs. Class schedules are distributed at the beginning of the academic year, so it is possible to balance classes with part-time work
