On Tuesday, December 9, we will hold a hands-on seminar where you can experience the fundamentals of garment creation through flat pattern making.
Flat pattern making is the process of drafting a garment’s design plan by drawing lines on drafting paper.
Experience the delicate and profound world where a millimeter’s difference in the lines can change the entire silhouette.
Our theme for the seminar is the flared skirt, and we will focus specifically on the process of making the flat pattern.
While ESMOD classes include transferring the pattern to toile and assembling it, In this special seminar we will focus on the drafting, allowing you to experience pattern design, the very foundation of garment creation.
This is a valuable opportunity to learn the essential skill every patternmaker needs: the ability to make garments from flat pattern making.
