Saturday, January 10th – Trial Class – Learn Design Approaches with Window Technique

On Saturday, January 10th, we will be holding a special trial class where you can experience the “Window Technique,” a fundamental method for fashion design ideation!

The Window Technique is a design approach that focuses on specific parts or perspectives, much like “viewing an object through a window.”
You will learn this creative design approach by cutting out a section, observing it closely, and generating new shapes and details from it.

In this trial class, you will use the Window Technique to extract design hints, then translate them into actual design sketches through tracing.

“How do I give shape to my ideas?”
“How do I connect the observed motifs to the design?”
This is a valuable opportunity to experience hands on a designer’s thought process.

Recommended for:
・Those wanting to learn design ideation methods
・Those wanting to acquire “design thought processes” even if they are not very good at drawing
・Those wanting to experience a fashion design class
・Those aiming to become designers in the future

Take this opportunity to experience an authentic ESMOD class.

Date: Saturday, January 10th
Time: Reception from 10:00 / Session 10:30 –13:00
Content: Learn design approaches through the Window Technique
*Individual consultations available on the day. Please let us know if you wish to schedule one.
