Shunta Nakajima
almost black
Transferred from ESMOD Osaka to the Paris campus in his second year, graduating in 2003. Subsequently worked as an assistant designer for Raf Simons, based in Antwerp. After returning to Japan, joined Mister Hollywood. In 2015, launched the menswear brand ALMOSTBLACK with Masaki Kawase, centered on the concept of "Post-Japonism." Since 2020, has been holding exhibitions in Paris.

Satomi Ito
Costume Designer
While studying at ESMOD Tokyo, she won the Grand Prize at the Kobe Fashion Contest. Then, went to study abroad at Nottingham Trent University in the UK. After returning to Japan, she joined a dancewear company as a costume designer. In 2015, she became independent and began designing costumes for athletes, including figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu, as well as for gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics both in Japan and internationally.

Michiko Nakayama
MUVEIL
A graduate of ESMOD Tokyo, she launched her brand MUVEIL in the Spring/Summer 2007 season. The brand name combines the French word for lily of the valley, muguet, and the English word veil. In 2012, she expanded the brand with the casual line MUVEIL WORK. That same September, she opened the concept shop GALLERY MUVEIL in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.

Shinya Miyaura
Fashion Curator
After studying at ESMOD Tokyo, he went to the UK. From 2012, he began visiting textile production areas across Japan. In 2013, he opened the community space "Secori-Sou" in Tsukishima, Tokyo. In 2016, he became a Special Guest Professor at Nagoya University of the Arts. Since the founding of his business, he has visited around 200 factories annually and has been promoting the charm of textile production areas through various media and spaces. He is currently developing various curation projects in the private sector.

Graduated from ESMOD Osaka (Specialized in Menswear). He is a fashion designer and artist. Viewing clothing as a media and communication tool, he creates works that use fashion items as their support structure.
